De Westhoek nature reserve

Only a few minutes' walk from J-Club De Panne lies De Westhoek Nature Reserve, the largest protected dune area on the Belgian coast.

Covering approximately 340 hectares, this exceptional landscape stretches between the Belgian North Sea and the French border.

Together with the Krakeel Dunes, Oosthoek Dunes and Calmeynbos Forest, it forms one of the most important coastal nature reserves in Belgium.
