To us, J-Club De Panne is more than a group accommodation venue. It is a place to come together, share stories and create wonderful memories. Even when you are far from home, we want you to feel at home here. We are always happy to take the time to listen and hear what is on your mind.
The warm atmosphere at J-Club De Panne is created every day by our team. They work with enthusiasm and dedication, know the centre well and each bring their own personality to its atmosphere. A thoughtful gesture, a kind word or a helping hand can make all the difference in helping guests feel welcome and at ease. We want every team member to feel valued and to work well together. As a guest, you can feel that sense of togetherness too.
Our team
The Raymaekers family has run the centre since 1989. Gilbert Raymaekers and Stella Stels built J-Club De Panne with great care. Since 2005, Jochen Raymaekers and Mélina Mévaere have continued that family story with passion and dedication. They oversee the day-to-day running of the centre, organise group stays and lead the team. Drawing on their experience, they ensure everything runs smoothly while preserving J-Club De Panne’s personal approach.
At reception, Annelies gives you a warm welcome, answers your questions and is happy to help you plan your stay. In the kitchen, Laurent and Christine prepare meals with care. Linda, Stephanie and Cindy keep the rooms and shared spaces clean and well cared for, and help make mealtimes in the restaurant enjoyable. Mike, our maintenance technician, keeps everything in working order and is always happy to tackle the jobs that need doing.
And, of course, our golden retriever is part of the team too. He loves our guests and is always happy to greet them at reception.
What we stand for
A feeling of home often comes from the little things: a familiar face, time for a chat or someone asking how your stay is going. We want you to feel at ease and free to be yourself. That is what our team works towards every day, with care and enthusiasm.
