Our car park provides direct access to the dunes for various activities. Hundreds of hectares of dunes and woods, with a wide variety of animals, fauna and flora, form a spectacular landscape. The Oosthoek dunes even have a defined habitat where donkeys graze as part of good dune management.
Our guide can help you prepare educational and/or recreational projects in the forest or in the dunes.
Through the play forest there is direct access to "De Duinpanne", a nature education centre of the Flemish government. The permanent interactive exhibition provides a lot of information about the sea, the beach and the dunes. Young visitors will also appreciate the specially designed children's trail. The nature garden is an ideal starting and/or finishing point for a walk to one of the many dune complexes. Here you will find the most typical dune plants and biotopes in a relatively small area.

In the heart of "Calmeynbos" you will also find the WTC Tennis Club, an ideal place to play tennis. All gravel courts are open air and in the adjacent cafeteria you can relax with a drink and a snack.
